all across america. and no family pays st. jude for anything. man, these kids are getting strong! give thanks for the healthy kids in your life. and give to those who are not. go to st. jude dot org or shop where ever you see the st. jude logo. >>> welcome back. a san francisco church is making sure the needy are able to celebrate the holiday. ktvu channel 2 all righter alex savidge is live with us this morning to show us the christmas breakfast being put on by glide memorial church. good morning, alex. >> reporter: good morning. it's a tra capacity tradition at glide in san francisco. take a look. we're inside the prep room where all of the activity is going on. these volunteers have been up early and been out here carving up the ham and turkey working to make sure those in need get a nice, warm christmas meal. they are getting ready for a very busy day today. let me show you the scene downstairs -- downstairs. breakfast is served. hundreds are enjoying ham, egg and grits a yearly tradition. all told, glide expects to serve about 5,000 meals. many people have nowhere else to go
